Blue Hours Studios

Creative Producer

Kyvon Edwin

Dear Blue Hour Studios Team,

I’m writing to express my interest in the Creative Producer role at Blue Hour Studios. I’m a Brooklyn-based producer and production coordinator with 7+ years of experience across social-first campaigns, branded content, and live/experiential production for clients including Microsoft, AT&T, Google, Ally Bank, and Ulta. My work lives right where you play — at the intersection of creators, culture, content, and commerce — and I’m excited by the opportunity to bring that experience to a team that is unapologetically social-first.

Across agency, studio, and in-house environments, I’ve led the end-to-end production of social content in many forms: organic and paid short-form video, longer-form digital video, and design-forward assets for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and more. I’m comfortable shooting with iPhone and mirrorless/DSLR, working with basic lighting and sound setups, and managing small crews or freelancers when a build is more complex. In post, I edit in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut, lean on After Effects and in-app tools for motion, and use Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva for static and mixed-media assets. No matter the tool, my focus is the same: clear narrative, thumb-stopping first seconds, and a visual language that feels both on-brand for the client and native to the platform.

Alongside hands-on production, I’m deeply involved in creative development. I’ve helped shape always-on content calendars, build out “big idea” campaign concepts, and contribute to new business pitches — often translating loose cultural insights or trends into concrete, social-first ideas that creators can actually execute. I’m comfortable building client-ready decks in Google Slides/PowerPoint, framing the strategy, and walking partners through why a concept works for their audience and KPIs. I also enjoy writing and reviewing creator and influencer briefs, giving clear, actionable feedback that respects their voice while protecting the brand and the idea.

My production background also means I’m fluent in project management and client relations. I’ve run multiple shoots and campaigns at once, tracking timelines, budgets, and deliverables while keeping internal teams, clients, and vendors aligned. I know how to keep things moving in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing craft, and I’m used to mentoring junior staff — from helping them level up their edits to modeling how to handle feedback and client presentations. I’m collaborative, detail-oriented, and very comfortable being on-camera when it helps bring a concept to life.

Blue Hour’s emphasis on community-driven creativity, diverse perspectives, and ego-free collaboration really resonates with me. I’ve built my career in spaces that value inclusive storytelling and experimentation, and I’m energized by the idea of helping evolve your style, voice, and brand while delivering outstanding work for clients. I’d love the chance to share my portfolio of social-first campaigns and talk about how I could contribute to your Creative & Creator team. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Kyvon Edwin
